Old water softener had become inefficient after 22 years of service. Since the manufacture had no representation in town, I decided to contact Besco who is well known throughout the area. I called the local store and talked to Brian, and he suggested... that I bring an untreated water sample to the store for analysis stating that this would speed up the process of having a new water softening system installed. On Monday I took the sample in and made an appointment to have a new unit installed on Wednesday of the same week. The service tech Brent was at my house at 9:00am as scheduled.
