Old water softener had become inefficient after 22 years of service. Since the manufacture had no representation in town, I decided to contact Besco who is well known throughout the area. I called the local store and talked to Brian, and he suggested... that I bring an untreated water sample to the store for analysis stating that this would speed up the process of having a new water softening system installed. On Monday I took the sample in and made an appointment to have a new unit installed on Wednesday of the same week. The service tech Brent was at my house at 9:00am as scheduled. He had the new softener, all of the necessary fittings and tools and the knowledge to perform a very clean and functional installation. When he left the only evidence that he had been there was the new water softening unit. Besco has been great! They've been providing water for my workplace for several years. Erich (not Eric... it's spelled wrong on his uniform!) has been our new delivery driver the last couple of months -- great communication, open to feedback, and gets us... what we need in our multiple locations within the building. We setup service to have a water cooler with delivery every month. Had Besco come out to set up a water softener system for my house in Cedar Springs, from start to finish everyone from the office staff to the plumber that did the installation was professional and friendly. Their plumber that did the installation did a... very good job taking his time to ensure everything was done right and done well. He made sure to answer all of my questions and explained how the system should work and that moving forward if I had any other questions or concerns to reach out and they would be happy to assist. So far everything is working great and I can tell there is a definite improvement in my water quality.read more

I've been working with Gerrit at Besco. Last spring, we upgraded our system based on his analysis and recommendations. Our particular well water is very challenging to say the least, but Gerrit has worked diligently with us to achieve clear water. He... has responded almost immediately to all of our inquiries along the way, and he does not hesitate to do what it takes to solve problems. He's calm and articulate as he problem solves. I don't know what your experience has been getting contractors to work with you quickly and effectively over the past few years, but I've found it difficult to get them to return calls and schedule service in a timely manner. Gerrit and Besco, however, respond immediately and schedule service quickly. Rare quality and service! I highly recommend Gerrit and Besco.read more
